GCRMN Report – 6th Status of Coral Reefs of the World

The Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN) has released the 6th report on the status and trends of coral reef ecosystems worldwide. This is the first “Status of Coral Reefs of the World” report since 2008.

According the information released with the report:

The release coincides with two key upcoming biodiversity and climate change meetings: the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15) and the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26).  This report will provide decision makers with the best available scientific information on the status and trends of coral reef ecosystems for their conservation and management.
