Otherwise, among the highlights are several items describing the career experiences of two or three senior members, and informative and entertaining accounts of their attendance at ECRS 2017 by student travel grant awardees. All this plus the usual short communications, while the review section gives details of reef related books that should make most suitable seasonal gifts.
