It was first published in 1983. Following a short break in production it was re-launched in electronic (pdf) form. Contributions are welcome, especially from members. In this issue: This issue contains news of what ICRS officers and members have been doing to protect the planet’s coral reefs, and indeed to protect reef science. It also contains the latest details of this year’s Mexican / Pan-American coral reef conference in Cozumel, Mexico, and the next not-to-be-missed International Coral Reef Symposium, taking place in New Zealand, in July 2026. Also included are some thought provoking opinion pieces by Peter Sale and Chuck Birkeland, reports on three recent conferences, and some excellent book reviews by Brian Rosen and Roger Bradbury. And tributes to some of the senior members we have lost since our last edition was published.
