Reef Conservation UK Conference – RCUK 2023

Reef Conservation UK (RCUK) functions as a networking consortium and an annual gathering, uniting scientists, conservationists, and coral reef enthusiasts with the aim of exploring and collaborating on matters pertaining to coral reef research and conservation. Notably, RCUK’s community is progressively expanding to encompass professionals working on both cold water coral ecosystems and tropical coral reefs.

RCUK’s annual conference acts as a hub for facilitating discussions, featuring diverse presentations, poster sessions, and networking opportunities. It’s a valuable chance to connect with fellow experts and enthusiasts in a relaxed  setting, encouraging the exchange of ideas and collaborative efforts.

WORKSHOPS – 8th December 2023

On Friday afternoon on the 8th of December 2023, RCUK is hosting 4 workshops at the Frederick Douglass Centre, Newcastle University. The workshops include “Seeing like a social scientist”, “AI for Coral Reefs”, “Reef Restoration and Rehabilitation”, and “Grant Writing for Scientists”.
